About me...

Hi, I’m Kim.

I’m a Bachelor of Health Science qualified naturopath, a registered member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), and the founder of Sloane Naturopathics. I’m also a mum and that’s the part of this story you should probably hear first.

I didn’t come to naturopathy from a calm, considered place. I came to it from the floor. When I became a mother, my body started speaking up in ways I couldn’t ignore. Hormones, gut, energy, mood every system felt slightly off. I studied naturopathy not because it was a clean career pivot, but because I wanted real answers for me and every woman I’d watched be politely dismissed at a doctor’s desk.

My Values

Why I do this work

I do this work because women deserve to be believed. Because “normal” results don’t mean nothing is happening. Because feeling like a stranger in your own body is not the price of being a woman, a mother, or a human in your thirties. Because the root cause matters and there is almost always a root cause. I want my daughter to grow up in a world where women aren’t told to push through. I want my clients to feel seen the first time they sit down with me. And I want to be the practitioner I needed when I was searching.

I am an evidence-informed, collaborative naturopath. That means I work with current research, both standard and functional pathology, well-formulated herbal medicine, practitioner-grade nutritional support, and the daily inputs we can actually influence food, sleep, movement, stress, nervous system, environment. It also means I work alongside your other practitioners. I love a multidisciplinary team. If you have a brilliant GP, integrative doctor, endocrinologist, psychologist or specialist fantastic. I’ll happily be one part of the village around you. Naturopathy isn’t a replacement for good medicine; it’s a deeper layer of care underneath it.

How I practise

  • To be listened to fully.
  • To be given time.
  • To be given context, not just a protocol.
  • To be supported between consults, not just during them.
  • To leave with a plan that fits your real life not a fantasy version of it.

What you can expect from me

You’ll find me with my family in the kitchen, on a walk with my dog, most likely reading or quietly buried in a stack of research on my laptop because I genuinely love learning. Naturopathy isn’t a job for me. It’s the long answer to a question I had to ask for myself. I’m really glad you’re here. - Kim
